Description:
Original 1950s New York Yacht Club burgee featuring a red cross and white star on a deep navy field. Made from early Nylanin (a heavyweight, weather-resistant synthetic developed mid-century), this burgee is a rare survivor from one of the most prestigious yacht clubs in the world.

Stitched hoist with original brass grommets. Heavy sun fading and salt exposure lend a distinct vintage patina—likely flown on an active vessel during the golden age of American sailing.

Condition:
Worn Condition – significant fading and surface wear consistent with age and coastal exposure. Structurally intact.

Measurements:
Approx. 12" height x 18" length
