Firstport x Greens Ledge Light
Greens Ledge Light has stood over Long Island Sound for generations, guiding the waters off Connecticut. After decades under the Coast Guard, the lighthouse was passed into local hands in 2016, beginning a community-led effort to restore and preserve it. That work continues today, now with a new addition to the story, Lightkeeper Charlie Erdmann, a custom-built landing craft helping carry people, research, and supplies out to the light.
